The program basically consists of two standalone programs that can be utilised separately or as a unit. Opening the program displays this screen.

You can now enter degrees of latitude and longitude manually or select a city from the 800 plus in the list.

Clicking on that city automatically inserts the correct latitude and longitude into the correct text boxes. Once selected the ENTER FIRST POSITION button is clicked and the following screen is displayed.

The procedure is now repeated for the second location and the ENTER SECOND POSITION button clicked - which displays the following screen.

Now having the data for the two locations the Great Circle button can be clicked which will pass data to a new program called GCForm - which calculates the standard great circle formula. The screen now looks like this.

Once the CALCULATE FORMULA button is clicked these options become available.

Clicking on the Show 360 button displays a complete great circle, passing through the two locations, at 1 degree longitudinal steps.

Clicking on the CHART button displays the following chart of the world showing the great circle

Adding new cities and locations to the database can be achieved through the ADD NEW PLACES button.

Once the latitude, longitude, place name and country have been filled in then there is an option to add it to the database or not.

At any time the calculations done previously may be accessed by using the VIEW TEXT FILE button. This list can also be cleared using the CLEAR TEXT FILE button.
